FarmLogs now connected to John Deere Operations Center

November 17, 2021

Growers can now connect their FarmLogs account to their John Deere Operations Center account to automatically create Activities and import yield maps. This new capability will allow growers to seamlessly transfer the field work being captured by their equipment monitor to their FarmLogs account. By doing so, growers can:

  • Reduce the amount of time spent entering data
  • Keep accurate records across systems
  • Automatically calculate their cost of production
  • More easily determine their farm’s Profit & Loss down to the acre

How it works

Once growers connect their accounts, the field work recorded in the John Deere Operations Center account going forward will automatically create an activity record in their FarmLogs account. If there are conflicts between the data, such as with an input name, they will have the opportunity to reconcile those differences.

If the grower already has input purchases logged they will see the Profit & Loss feature populate based on the field work completed and inputs used. The Profit & Loss feature provides detailed visibility into a farm operation on an acre, field, crop, and farm level.

How to access

Machine Data Integrations and the Profit & Loss features are included in the Business plan for farms with under 3,000 acres. Growers can try the Business plan free by starting a trial here in the web app. Farms with over 3,000 acres can use this link to reach out for a quote or demonstration.
